Invest in Your Fitness
Here's a shopping list for anyone participating in classes or WOD's:
Your total investment: less than five bucks.
- Water (obviously filled with water or vodka) $0.00 if you re-use a bottled water container
- Towel (for wiping off your sweat or puke) $0.25 at the thrift store
- 3/4" or 1" PVC pipe, 5' long ["Schedule 40" is best] (for warm-ups, stretching and techniques) $1.00 at the hardware store
- Padding [carpet samples or double-thick exercise mat] (if you need if for push-ups, burpees, passing out, etc.) $1.00 for an obsolete carpet sample at a flooring store
- Notebook (for tracking your progress, recording consumption, and journaling your hate for burpees) $1.00 for a "composition" notebook
