November Awards
Sometimes we hand out awards during WODs and not everyone gets to know who the recipients are. We had five awards for December, and from now on, I'll make sure to publish this information as soon as the recipients are selected.
Mechanics: RT Snyder
Consistency: Kim Howard and Jane Lee
Intensity: Cal Huartson and Kelly Richter
RT consistently attends the 6am WOD. He works very hard on his technique, and puts a great deal of effort into each WOD. In fact, he's a great example in all areas...mechanics, consistency and intensity. For his dedication to technical proficiency in all exercises, RT is awarded the ONDEG "Mechanics" shirt.
Kim and Jane are past recipients of the Consistency award. They have both been very consistent since the very first Boot Camp back in August. Both have had near perfect attendance (5 days a week!) every month. This month the are awarded an ONDEG nutrition reminder refrigerator magnet.
Cal and Kelly started attending the evening Boot Camp program in November. From their very first WOD, they have both given everything they could during every WOD and can frequently be seen doing additional work at the end of the hour. For their fine example of all-out effort, they are both awarded the ONDEG "Intensity" shirt.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Awards are presented monthly to the individuals that show exemplary performance in these three areas:
The"Consistency" award is presented to any athlete that has perfectattendance for the month, based on either the five days per weekprogramming or their own stated goals. If no athletes meet thiscriteria, the award is a subjective evaluation based on the trainers'observations.
The "Intensity" award is presented to the athletethat shows a high degree of motivation and effort during the warm-upsand WODs. This is a subjective evaluation based on the trainers'observations.
