    Ahh...maybe using "not so young" and "athlete" in the same sentence is an oxymoron. In most sports there is an age breakdown. In running a race, I can see my standing against other 50-55 year olds. I like that. But still in the end the one who wins is the fastest, most prepared athlete regardless of age.
