Today's focus:
  • Metabolic conditioning
    • Phosphagen
    • Glycolytic
  • Mode
    • Monostructural
    • Gymnastics
    • Weightlifting
Warm-up:
  • Shoulder stretch (on your own)
  • Core to extremity dynamic stretch and body movement
  • Samson / perfect stretch
  • Wrist stretch
  • Achilles stretch
  • Squat stretch
  • 2x10
    • Push:  ring push-up
    • Pull:  body row
    • Midline flex:  leg-lift
    • Midline extend:  good morning
    • Hip open / close:  tuck jump
Skill review / enhancement / instruction:
  • Squat depth
  • Press posture
WOD#1:
Training sets of each (5x5):
  • Deadlift
  • Back squat
  • Press
WOD #2:
Max effort for one minute at each station.  Three rounds, rest as necessary between rounds.
  • Box jump
  • KB swing
  • Push-up
Post-WOD skill / strengthening / conditioning:
  • KTE, 3x15
Stretch

Study as Much as You Sweat:

    Anytime between July 20th - August 3rdish. Between new grandbaby arrival and family weddings in North Dakota my summers kinda out of sorts-but i'm thinking i'll be around during those times---But it's whatever works for you and everyone else. I've never been up there and don't have a clue what it's like and how long is it?
