Monday's Run

Monday's WOD is a four mile loop around Choteau.

Here's the map:



The route starts at the gym.
  • Go north to 1st Street.
  • Go west to Main Avenue.
  • Go north to Airport Road.
  • Go east to Highway 220.
  • Go south to Highway 221 (which turns into 1st Street).
  • Follow 1st Street to the alley and back to the gym!
If you want to scale down the distance, simply turn south at Otness Road, or one of the streets on your right as you climb the hill below the airport and golf course.  Go south until you hit 1st Street and then continue west until you reach the alley and back to the gym.

I normally recommend you stay to the left side of the road as you run.  However, for the first part of this run (north on Main Avenue) stay on the east side of the street until you reach Airport Road, then get on the left side.

Be careful at intersections and when crossing over to the other side of the road.  Remember, you have the right-of-way, but it's difficult for drivers to see you sometimes.  So, assume they don't see you and be ready to give them plenty of room.
