First, New Year's Resolution: Tuesday will represent one year since I started CrossFit, and I could never have imagined that I would turn my life around, and accomplish all that I have in such a short time. Though painful, I must have been having fun, because this past year has flown by like nothing. I'm in the best physical shape I've ever been in, so much so, that the Death Race actually looks more intriguing to me than intimidating. Last year I watched the boxing Smoker from the stands, but this year I'll get to test my fitness level inside the ring for yet another first. At this point, nothing seems impossible. In a little over a month, I'll compete at the Rx'd level of a competition I placed first in last year at the beginner's level; it should be a real test of how far I've come.
    Hard work pays off!
