Another ONDEG Hike Coming Up!
For those of you who are interested in doing another hike, I'm open to suggestions...where and when?
A good hike for everyone is the hike to Headquarters Pass. The more ambitious folks can continue up Rocky Mountain Peak from Headquarters Pass, and the if climbing the tallest peak on The Front is not for you, then going back down the same way you went up is easy enough.
Here's a link to the topographic map of the Headquarters Pass / Rocky Mountain area.
Got any ideas? Let's talk about them at the gym or post your comments below.
And........if you need ideas on what to eat after coming off the trail, here's a good article about tin foil packet cooking.

Paul,
Sounds interesting. I would also be interested in Ear Mountain. Are both location covered by a rescue helicopter for middle age dreamers? ;-) Saturday's are the best chance I have to go. Sunday's our out for me, because as you know I am busy telling the congregation about my new found insights into the pains of hell and purgatory that you have been showing me;-).
Thanks
Chris

Chris...I will probably plan the Ear Mountain hike for a Saturday. I think we will need Sunday as a day of rest after hiking up there so we can be prepared for another session of pain and suffering on the following Monday. The hike will probably occur in September. I hope you can make it!
