Wednesday WOD - 04 August 2010 (competitor WOD)

Today we are featuring a workout for our competitors.  It is the second workout from the Montana StateGames in 2009.  (Note:  the Montana State Games is now the BridgerCrossFit Showdown.)

We did this WOD back on 09 January 2010, however it was scaled up to five rounds..

Three rounds for time:
  • Hang power snatch x10
  • Burpee x20
  • Wall ball x30
  • Double-under x40
The weights on the snatch will be as follows:
  • Rx’d:  95# male / 65# female
  • Option B:  65# male / 45# female
  • Option C:  45# male / 35# female
The medicine ball weights and target heights for the wall ball will be as follows (although we only have 8 foot targets and a 10 pound ball for the females):
  • Rx’d:  20# male / 14# female (10 foot targets)
  • Option B:  14# male / 8# female (10 foot targets)
  • Option C:  10# male (10 foot target) / 8# female (8 foot target)
Double-unders:
  • Rx’d:  40 double-unders.  No exceptions.
  • Option B:  You may choose either 40 double-unders or 120 singles.  Must declare your choice before 3-2-1 go!
  • Option C:  You may choose either 40 double-unders or 120 singles.  Must declare your choice before 3-2-1 go!

    Yeah, I know you think this is funny!! And, Yes so do I!I HAVE NOT REPEATED THIS WORKOUT SINCE LAST YEAR!!! Why would I do that to myself?

    So I am going to throw myself under the bus and admit that I got "carried away" with my day yesterday and never made it into the gym! I DID go to Lewis and Clark Caverns and hike about 6 miles, plus take the 2hour/2mile tour under ground! None the less I AM DOING THIS TODAY! My punishment for taking two days off in a row.

    I can not wait! Time to follow....
