ONDEG Outside The Box - Banff Mountain Film Festival

It's that time of year when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour comes to Great Falls.  If you are not familiar with the Banff Mountain Film Festival, check out the website and watch the trailer.  Every year, Great Falls is the first stop on the World Tour and the Great Falls Ski Patrol does a great job of hosting the tour at the Mansfield Theater in the Great Falls Civic Center.  It's one night only:  Friday, November 12th at 7pm.

Let's put together a group to go down together.  We can leave early, get a good meal in Great Falls, enjoy the films then get together at one of the local hot spots before heading back home.  We can carpool and it would of course make sense to have some "designated drivers" because I'm sure some will prefer to be "designated drinkers".  Kinda "cult-ish", I know...but that's how we roll!

Tickets sell out rather quickly.  It's general admission only, so we'll want to get there plenty early to get good seats.  Buy tickets online or pay at the gym and the tickets will be purchased for you.  Tickets are $10 per person.

Official info from www.greatfallsmt.net:
"The Great Falls Ski Patrol presents a unique film adventure Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour. Enjoy 6-12 outdoor films shot all over the world -- skiing, kayaking, mountain climbing, snowboarding -- and more, filled with humor andmountain culture.  Age recommendation:  all ages."
Tentative itinerary for Friday, November 12th:
  • 2pm    Early WOD
  • 4pm    Leave for Great Falls
  • 5pm    Dinner
  • 6pm    Arrive early for good seating
  • 7pm    Film Festival
  • 10pm  Night life
  • 12pm  Return to Choteau
If you can't go for dinner or stay late, that is OK...the more the merrier and believe me, you don't want to miss this event!

Put your name on the list today so we can get there early and cordon off an adequate number of seats together.
