Guests at the Workouts
A quick update regarding visitors during the workouts:
Everyone is encouraged to bring friends and family to the workouts for the rest of the month. Since it's Thanksgiving week, I'm sure there's lots of folks visiting town and chances are you can't stop talking to them about the killer workouts and the awesome trainers! ;o) So, if your friends or family members are planning to participate in a workout, it will be important that they communicate their level of fitness to the trainer on duty so we can scale, substitute and modify the workouts appropriately. The trainer has the final say in determining any guest's level of participation, so please don't be offended if your guest is limited in their participation. And, members are given priority on space and equipment but we will accommodate all guests as best as possible.
Anyone who is a previous member here is expected to pay the $10 drop-in fee. Even though we consider you a friend and part of our little fitness family, you don't qualify as a "friends and family" in this regard. Athletes who visit our gym that have a demonstrable familiarity with our style of training (ie "CrossFit") are welcome to fully participate in the workouts...after paying $10 of course.
We do everything we can to keep everyone safe, but our insurance requires us to have signed waivers from everyone participating in the workouts. Please have your guests download the form, print it, read it, sign and initial it, and bring it to the workout.
And, as usual, anyone can come observe if they don't want to participate. Well-behaved children are welcome as well, however, the parent must have control of the children at all times and they are not allowed to leave the seating area.
That should cover it, but ask if you have questions!
