Announcements:
  • Parking:  park your vehicles as close to the building as possible, toward the north end of the property.  The plumbers need to access their storage vans south of our building.  Park along our building's east side, and if necessary, along the north side.
  • Entry and exit:  do not exit at the northwest corner of the property...the property owner to the west doesn't want anyone driving through their property to get back on the road.  BEWARE:  There is a log across the roadway and you might bugger up your vehicle if you hit it.

You're right Karen...Glassman can be a bit harsh in his comments, but like you say...it's true.  I think it takes an extreme amount of exercise to fall into the "over-training" category.  I look differently upon people in your situation though..."working wounded" is different than "over-trained".  You are "no stranger to pain" and I commend you for continuing to work through it despite the discomfort and frustration.  If someone is using the "over-training" tactic to get out of something they don't want to do anyway, then I guess any excuse will do.  I suspect that true over-training comes from someone who truly loves the workouts, loves them so much and hits them so hard day after day...they don't know when to stop (or don't want to stop) and take a break for recovery.  Sometimes there can be too much of a good thing!
