Is This You?
(NOTE: the following text, 'cept for the last line, was ripped off from Stumptuous.com.)
You probably eat:
- too much sugar
- too much sodium
- too much processed food
- too many artificially created and industrially processed fats
- too many industrially added chemicals
- too few fruits and vegetables — especially the chemical powerhouses like dark leafy greens and dark coloured berries
- too little of the right fats (fatphobes, I see you yanking the egg yolks out)
You also probably:
- sleep too little
- move and use your body infrequently
- have too much stress
- consume too much caffeine, booze, and/or carbonated drinks
- smoke
- rely on mass-market pharmaceuticals to hide valid symptoms of physiological distress rather than attempting to solve the underlying problem
- play, laugh, and love too little; work, worry, and grouch too much
so how the heck can i track my body fat since that is the best way(random i know but i looked around the website with the what you need what you dont article and they had articles on this as well) scales are bad, tape measurement ways are bad!! ugh it says picutres but i feel that is so subjective. My example with the scale four weeks ago 27.7% three weeks ago mental break down caused by 28.5% then two weeks ago down again to 27.6% then this week back up to 29.1%. I always go on in the morning and bathroom is similar temp, and humidity. What could be causing this?

Remember these three things: look, feel, perform.
Don't worry about what some gadget tells you about your bodyfat percentage. Are you happy with the way you look? Do you feel like you want to feel? Is your performance in the workouts what you desire?
If you want to lose body fat, listen to what Mark Rippetoe has to say:
I recommend reading Dr. Sears' book "The Zone" and we'll get a group together to share ideas. I am working towards a strict Paleo/Zone diet, and there's a few others in the gym that are "zoning" as well.
Keep working hard and keep educating yourself. Caloric restriction may be the final piece of the puzzle...learning to control the portion size of your meals. Eat for sustenance, not satisfaction.
Let's work together on this!
