Proposed Changes
Change is an inevitable byproduct of growth. I am considering some changes to our routine, but I don't want to make the changes if it will negatively affect your participation in our workouts. Your feedback is needed on the following topics:
Schedule:
How would your workouts be affected if the following schedule was introduced?
There have been some workouts recently where the numbers of attendees has affected the quality of the workout and the quality of instruction, and potentially the safety of everyone involved. How would you feel about having to reserve your workout time in order to limit the number of attendees?
When responding, please tell me who you are and what affect these changes will have on your participation.
Thanks for being open and honest about this.

I would like the 5:pm. Rick would be a little rushed-he gets off work at 5:00. I think 5:30 would thin out the 6pm, because of work schedules. I wonder if it would make your 6:45 crowded though. Maybe we should all sign up for our ideal time slot and see how it stacks up for you.

Paul,
Steve and I would like the worksout to stay at the times they are currently. We would not be able to make the earlier 530 class and working out at 645 is undesirable because wind down time for sleeping , making dinner etc… is pushed back nearly an hour. And the times work great now!
As to the signing up, I think it is a great idea! I have some concerns.. if it would be who shows up first type sign up, I would not agree with this. But if it were sign up ie: sign up Friday night or online Sunday for the workouts you want to do the next week I think would be great! Also I think if the number of participants needs to be limited those who do not consistently show up and people who can workout at a different time( ie in the middle of the morning) should be the first to have to select a different time.

paul,
also why not change to 5 and 6? i know getting done at 815ish or later four nights a week is probably a drag for you. I know a lot of the people who workout at six are people with 9-5 jobs ie teachers etc.. so i think 5 would work for them But the people at seven i dont know thier scheduling??? just a thought

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. The proposed changes are just some adjustments that might work...I certainly haven't made any decisions. I will let the community decide what's best and we'll roll with it!

i agree with Karen. Post a schedule and see how it falls. If you can get enough people in at 5:30 I think it will work. If enough people can't make it, all it's going to do is make the 6:45 class huge. You might have to go to a sign up sheet. It's nice to have everyone happy, but you don't want anyone getting hurt either.

Change!!! The 6 p.m. works wonderful for me. I think i'd have to really push for 5:30 p.m. and there's no way i'd do it later. I like the 9 a.m. for saturday. So i guess my vote is no for the change. I agree with Alison though about maybe offering 5 & 6? But, yah, i'm not sure why the 7 p.m. works for the group that comes then. i'm sounding selfish here but the current times work for me, but whatever the majority wants will have to be and i'll have to be flexible-maybe. :)

For what it's worth, I LOVE the possible new times...all of them! Good luck with your decision!

Personally, I like the schedule as it is. I do, however, realize that many folks would rather exercise earlier and if that is what's best for the greatest number of folks, then I'll adjust. I realize that you probably want to finish earlier in the evening too, Paul.

Time changes sound good to me, 800 on Saturday leaves more day left afterward. 530 and 630 make sense and might even out the classes. The other changes don't apply to me as much.
