The Importance of Muscle Building As You Age

I was speaking with someone the other day and the question of whether or not you can build muscle as you age came up.  I explained that muscles don't stop growing as we get older, it's just more painful to workout with the intensity required to stress the muscles enough for the adaptation of building new muscle.  I think I got it right, at least in one respect, but listen to what Dan John says.  Stay tuned to the end of the video for the relevant information and be sure to read the comments.

What do you think?  Are you trying to continue building lean muscle mass as you get older?
