Bike/Run/Swim/Run/Bike - Saturday Night Workout

Here's the final details for the triple-mode monostructural endurance workout:
  • Leave from the gym at 5:00pm.
  • Bike to the Teton Canyon turn-off.
  • Drop bikes there.  (lock your bike to a post if you are fearful if it being stolen)
  • Run to Eureka reservoir.
  • Swim across.
  • Swim back.
  • Run to bikes.
  • Bike back to gym.  We'll meet up afterwards for accountability and celebratory purposes!
Check out the map.

Some things to keep in mind:
  • Forecast for start time:  85 degrees, 8 mph winds from SW, 18% humidity, clear skies.
  • Forecast for 9pm:  72 degrees, 7 mph winds from SW, 28% humidity, clear skies.
  • Bring plenty of water and fuel.
  • Be careful of traffic on the road and on the water.  Stay on the right side of the road while biking.  Stay on the left side of the road while running.  Make yourself visible in the water (splashing) if a boat approaches you.
  • Sundown is at 9pm, so be prepared for darkness if you think you'll be out later than that.  The forecast illumination is 0%...no moonlight whatsoever.
  • Remember:  this event is unsupported...and at your own pace.  No lifeguards, no water/fueling stations, no first aid, no stopwatch.
  • Participate at your own level of comfort and at your own risk.
